Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to make an appointment?
Booking an appointment helps us ensure you receive the time and attention you deserve. It allows us to prepare for your visit and provide a more personalized experience without unnecessary wait times. Especially during busier periods, having an appointment guarantees that we can serve you efficiently and without interruption. While walk-ins are welcome during most business hours, scheduling ahead is the best way to make the most of your time with us.
What is more important in a diamond- Colour or Clarity?
The importance of colour versus clarity comes down to personal preference. Plumeria prefers to work with diamonds that are of the highest grade — specifically, D, E, F, G, and H in colour, with clarities ranging from IF to SI2. These exceptional standards ensure that every ring you see from Plumeria Studio reflects superior craftsmanship, beauty, and brilliance.
How often do I need to rhodium plate?
Depending on the wear to the ring, rhodium plating may be required every 6 to 12 months for rings such as engagement rings and wedding bands that are worn daily. Items such as dress rings, earrings and necklaces that are worn not as often will require rhodium plating less frequently.
Do you accept returns?
If any of our products that you buy fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. The remedy you’re entitled to will depend on whether the issue is major or minor.
For minor issues, we will offer a free repair. A major issue is something that cannot be resolved from repairs, in which case we will offer a replacement or refund.
We have the right to refuse to give you a free repair, replacement or refund if:
you simply changed your mind;
you misused the product or service in a way that contributed to the problem;
you asked for a service to be done in a certain way against our advice or were unclear about what you wanted;
the problem was completely outside of our control.
